      Gr 7-10-The plot of this second series installment follows quickly on the heels of Season of Wonder (Blink, 2014), with no introduction or recap for new readers. The same cast of characters continues on its journey to find the rest of the Ailith (or prophesied beings with special powers) and spread the word of The Maker, all the while being hunted by those who would stop them. The story is told in the alternating perspectives of Ronan and Andriana, and readers will question the actions of both. While the previous volume was a solid adventure story, the heavy-handed message of this volume will turn off all those but the most devout fans. This is unlikely to draw new readers to the series.
